THE ONLY MARKET was born in BANGKOK 2017

by the simply notion creating things instinctively,  using found and recycled materials to curate  renewed lifestyle items. We believes that just as  people are the sum of their lived experiences, the  objects we share our homes with should carry that  same sense of history and weight. By using recycled  materials and hand made processes, TOM imbues  these objects with the feel of many lifetimes, and a  sense of history that makes each piece unique. With  Our products, there are no imperfections. These  imperfections are details that are meant to be there  by design.

Championing the borderless world, The Only Market celebrates memories, accidental crafts,  timeless places and the extraordinarily mundane through “souvenirs”. In this interconnected world, souvenirs are frown upon as outdated and kitsch, given as a gag  and later discarded. The Only Market, however, commemorates the fading recollections,  meaningful emotions as well as times and places locked behind these objects.

Redesigning souvenirs to showcase the essence and aesthetics of local wisdoms and honest  lifestyles, The Only Market explores the sense of high adventures through perceived generic,  everyday objects for the locals but different, fresh, and exciting for the visitors.

The Only Market repaints portrait of the usual tourist attractions, and highlights hidden local  arts, crafts, fashion, music, and designs by mixing the usuals with new twists, creating  souvenirs that are familiar yet unexpected.
